Tyrrhenian and its relation to IE

Pat is confused again so I'll be concise:

In IndoTyrrhenian,
the nominative marked the subject/patient,
the accusative marked the object,
and the genitive marked the agent.

Example: Burushaski where both subject-object and agent-patient
relationships are also conveyed.

> A typical confusion. The functional equivalent of the accusative is the
>absolutive.

Since the patient and the object are two different things, the
absolutive and accusative cases are definitely not functionally
equivalent. Therefore, Pat must be mad.

When I arrive home, I'll find Kerns' quote on the Nostratic
postclitic *ma which Pat cannot find it at his impoverished
library.
