The Welsh say the English had the Horse and Stallion that Ruined
Britain

Actually,

those Parisii-lish chariot burials are concentrated in East Yorkshire
with a single near Newbridge, Scotland. These are all north of the
Umber and not found in Kent. All date to the late Iron Age and in
truth, these Celt epons are, as Cris said no more than ponies, all
very small. These horse far two small to carry a rider very far.
Larger breeds were being introduced through the Belgae just as the
Romans entered the picture. Manawydan ab Llyr is the British/Welsh
sea-horse god.

Cris is right about the Dark Age Horse and Stallion, except they were
in the Finn Fight Iutones, rather than Saxons. That would be the same
as Dane to German. Unless these so-called Saxons were also Danes?
This is about the point in time when the modern breeds of European
horses began to take root.

I thought The Ruin of Britain was a famous work among historians of
the English?
