Joseph Crary... sigh (not another one):
>As you were discussing the relationship of German to the Etruscan and
>Finno-Ugric languages. Have you considered Etruscan, Pelesgi, and
>Hurrian as members of the Finno-Ugric group?
Joseph, this is getting ridiculous. You are very behind when it
comes to the simplest of languages and yet you must surely be near a
public library where there are encyclopaedias available to inform
you of this general knowledge. I see no excuse for this.
Since we know you have internet access, you can even visit the
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online which has all this information available at
your internet-searching fingertips.
Sufficed to say, your question is terribly naive. Hurrian is of
the HurroUrartian family. Pelasgi is a catchall and meaningless
name for any non-Greek sea peoples and is *not* a language unless
you feel like inventing a new one. I suggest you actually *read* something
on FinnoUgric before boring us with this nonsense
because there is much more to know about it than you are
apparently aware of.
And what's your obsession with Germans and Germanic??? I'm
starting to hear alarm bells ringing off again.
