route. The Swebians advance may have occured within a decad or two of
the Cimbri move.

This means the Swebian invasion would have significantly hurt the
Cimbric tribes that remained in Denmark. As the Swebian account says
they took 20,000 horses from the locals. This is interesting as the
Cimbri were known for a large mounted force. Early Roman accounts
say the same about the Swebians, as well.
