That never hurts :). But the real point is that Lempriere's story
about "Odinus" is a kind of prescientific fantasy, in which he tries
to rationalise Germanic mythology by reducing it to a
pseudohistorical narrative. It is worthless as a source, because it
is not based on any real-world information.
