Umm. People. Piotr is a Historian of English. I got his book, and you
should.

Even tho' Piotr is a happy Pole, he's also on the select list of those
who can tell us how Beowulf relates to Alfred's English, and how that
mess that occurred in the North of England that begat English as we
know it occurred. Whew.
