I'd have to look further into the color symbolism, but I can say that "long
arms reaching the knees" is a standard physiognomic symptom, in Hinduism, of
divine avataras. This is described in many places in the translation and
commentary on Bhagavata-Purana (Srimad-Bhagavatam) by A.C. Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada (the first place I learned of this detail). Long arms,
reaching to the knees, is found in the scriptural and hagiographical
descriptions of many or most divine avataras, including several medieval
Indian (Hindu) saints. While it does not help with the color symbolism,
having unusual skin color is a frequent symptom of avataras, too.
