Slavic RUKI is blocked preconsonantally. there are numerous examples like *pIrstU : Lith. pirs^tas 'finger' or *s^estI : Lith. s^es^tas 'six'.

I wonder why Lith. -is^k- (if from <*-isk-) was prone to the RUKI-
rule, while Proto-Slavic *-Isk- was not.
