No, no. I wasn't offended at all. I didn't want to get medieval
on _your_ hiney <:P I just had to use more expressions to show how
English isn't "stillborn" as Mark puts it. Thus, my use of the recently
created "medieval" phrase and references to other phrases that have been
born from television and print in the past century. English is still
alive. However, I would agree that perhaps linguistic evolution
itself is slowly changing ("synchrony meeting dischrony" or whatever
Mark the poet had said :P).
