Re: -etan, -itan, and -tan

I think you're the first person to notice the "-itan, "-etan", and "-
tan" pattern. I noticed the same thing just recently. I wrote in an
essay for college that there was no known relation between the
Aqvitans and Iberians and then I realized I had made a mistake in
saying that when I noticed this. I do know that the Iberian
peninsula and Mavretani were both places were the Capsian culture was
but I don't know whether the Capsian culture was in Aqvitani. "Aqv-"
also occurs in the Mavretani people called the Aqvenses. "-tan" also
occurs in the Aqvitan people called the Rvtans. They're also called
the Rvtens. There are other patterns like the "-ens" pattern which
occurs in the names of the Iberian peoples who are the Lvcenses and
Baedvnenses and in the names of the Mavretani peoples who are the
Mavrenses, Aqvenses and Tvlenses. Another one is the "-vl" pattern
which occurs in the names of the Iberian peoples who are the Tvrdvls,
Bastvls, and Vardvls and in the names of the Mavretani peoples who
are the Gaetvls and Elvls. "-iber" occurs "Celtiber" and in the name
of the Mavretani people called the Nectibers.
