Hello all. I am new member to this group, but I have been a regular
visitor of the website "Indo-European database", since 2000. I am
very much interested in the discussions on the forum, so I have
started to read the discussions from the beginning.

It strikes me that you all know so much :) I am quenching my thirst
on your knowledge :)

Let me present myself properly. My name is Daniël Rambaran and I
am
from Indo-Surinamese descent; meaning, my ancestors came from
India/Pakistan and migrated to Suriname (South America). I now live
in Holland and have studied Anthropology at the University of
Amsterdam. Languages are one of my greatest interests. I am lucky to
say that I have mastered quite a number of languages, mostly Indo-
European ones.

I hope I can be of some added value to your forum in the future, but
in the meantime I'll be reading along and learning more :)
