Well, since the Pacific is a large ocean, it's either via telepathy or
population movement from Asia or the Pacific islands. I'm unconvinced that
the Mayan legends are seperately developed myths from those of the Old World
because of terribly uncanny resemblances that when added up amount to a very
giant coincidence.
