MDAs a native speaker of Albanian, you have rightly felt the connection between Ulysses and Odysseus  and Albanian udë (and Romanian uditzâ small road, and with the change d>l, Russian ulitsa street) has been dismissed unceremoniously... Haven't you felt the current coming against you ?

I don´t think even Piotr thinks the same as you when you

Don't misunderstand me Alvin ! I wrote "the credo of the followers
of the "normal method" is that the Illyro-Albanian continuity is but a purely imaginative and chauvinistic belief professed by Albanians". I would certainly not say that since I'm convinced that Albanian is the direct descendant of Illyrian.
