What does this have to do with IE studies? Well, there is a translation of
King Muwatalli's correspondance -- from the original Hittite.
The idea that the Trojan War was a real event more or less as Homer gives
it, that the Exodus of Israel out of Egypt (possibly historical), and that
[2nd] Battle of Kadesh (absolutely historical) happened within a few years
of each other is worth a few novels (which in fact have been written, but
not very well). Just imagine: Helen, Menelaus, Moses and Ramses II all
together in one place at the same time.
