The acc.pl. of idalu- (the example given by Theo van den Hout) may not
be the best of examples, as there was a nasal in the ending (-us <
*-m-s) [and it illustrates wu > mu, not uw > um]. Better examples may
be the middle 2pl. -duma(ri) < *-dh(u)wo(ri), or the verbal
substantive -war [> u-mar], mentioned by Piotr.
