It has occured to me that Artemis and the bear-word are
related (arX-) She is the she-bear with her twin cubs, fearsome,
defending, motherly.
She-bears and their usually twin cubs suggets something about the Asvins,
the sons of Leda. Bears and horses. Also birds and their nests.
Mares really don't have twins (tho' it's known). It's bears that bear
twins. The Y-god probably antedates this observation about horses by
PIE-people.
