Proto-pig-Latin?

H.T. Bryer needs to address Lemnian and Rhaetic. And the
report of Herodotus.

Etruscan is mainly known via funerary inscriptions. Could
someone whose English was of the 'Coca-Cola' variety
'decipher' English from some old epitaphs in the north of
Scotland? Could any of us 'decipher' Navajo or Quecha with
only tombstone inscriptions?

Linear B is deciphered (with the help of later Greek).
Etruscan remains undeciphered, even if we do know individual
words and their parts of speech.

Still. These pages are fun. Do click the links.
