I just double-checked up on Old Irish Danae (Dana/Dane) - the actual meaning is "impudent/bold" (thus closer to Gaulish Dan- "violent") and not "swift" - sorry about that, but I confused it with a similar root.

So far, leaving aside river and divine names, we have come up with :
Old Indic /dhanu/ - dew, dripping water
Ossetic /don/ - river
Gaulish /dan/ - violent
Irish /danae/ - swift
