Was Kartvellian always confined to Georgia?

Western Semitic Amorites roamed far and wide circa 1,900 BCE. Aramaic
was the lingua franca of the Persian Empire of which Georgia was
intermittently a part, and it was certainly in close contact with the
Abbasid and Ummayadd Khalifates of the Middle Ages? What about culture
contact and borrowing? Certainly the "culture cline" ran from the
south to the north.

Any help there?
