Yes, and I believe that we share some 98% of our DNA with chimps but

I've never told hear of a chimp-human cross outside the realms of the

Yes Glen, and sadly I know of lots of folks whose mtDNA is 99.999%
similar and they still can't seem to produce viable offspring.
