Happy New Year

Dear friends,
After spending a few days away from my computer I found so much new
correspondence on Cybalist that I find it impossible to respond immediately
to all the people who might be expecting my answer. To make things worse, my
mail server is working by fits and starts. I'll start catching up with some
of the threads as soon as possible, but forgive me if it takes too long.
