The Bronocice pot.

junk This links to a jpg of the Bronocice pot. It has a wagon incised into it. This is apparently one of the very earliest depictions of a wheeled vehicle extant anywhere. This is from the TRB ( Trichterbecher, Funnel-necked Beaker, or just plain "Funnel Beaker") culture. There is a drawing of this pot in the Encyclopedia of Indo-European Culture (under 'Wagon'), but the color jpg has more presence. The wagon is quite visible just to the right of the center of the pot as shown in the picture.

Does anyone know the date for this pot? It's obviously ante-2700 BCE or so, but how much further back? To 4500?
